Rightmire Hall & Biotech Support Facility

On Monday, November 18th approximately 50 7th & 8th grade students from Graham Middle School will visit Rightmire Hall and the Biotech Support Facility to connect what they are learning in the classroom to expertise at Ohio State. The students have been exploring many aspects of plant science including food production and the food supply chain, crop domestication, natural versus artificial selection and genetic engineering. The field trip will include a presentation by Dr. Andrea Gschwend, Assistant Professor of Horticulture and Crop Science, a tour of the Arabidopsis Biological Resource Center facilities, and hands-on activities focused on plant sciences.
