Education

Courtney Price joined the ABRC team in October of 2015 as the Education and Outreach Specialist. She received her BS in Wildlife Biology from Ohio University, and her MA in Zoology from Miami University. Throughout her education, she traveled to Brazil, Trinidad, Belize, Kenya and Thailand to study biology, community-based conservation and education. Professionally, she has focused on promoting science through informal education, and engaging people in conservation and sustainability practices. She has worked as an educator since 2002, facilitating programs for individuals ranging in age from preschool through adulthood. She serves on the Board of Directors for Ohio State's STEAM Factory, is active with the Center for Advancing Research Impact in Society, and is a member of the National Network for Ocean and Climate Change Interpretation and the Portal to the Public Network.
