Dr. Veena Devi Ganeshan is a native of Bangalore, popularly known as the ‘Garden city’ of India. She earned her Ph. D in Plant Biology from the International Graduate School of Genetics and Functional Genomics at the University of Cologne, Germany. Her Ph. D research in AG Fluegge’s lab focused on studying the importance and role of Plastidic Phosphoenolpyruvate in Plant Growth and Development. Her postdoctoral trainings at The Ohio State University include research in Soybean Genetics and Rice Blast Disease.
