Description:
Chromosome 3 fluorescence-tagged tetraploid transgenic line expressing construct 16, a DsRed and lac repressor/operator system, and a second construct containing the RPS5 promoter to drive expression of genes encoding the EGFP-LacI fusion protein (GL) and histone H2B fused to monomeric DsRed (H2BmR) (Fig. 1C, construct 5; Matzke et al., 2010). Col-0 plants were transformed by the floral dip method. Kanamycin and phosphinotricin resistant. Homozygous for the transgenes. Tetraploid plants were produced by colchicine treatment.
