Glossy green appearance due to significant reduction of the amount of epicuticular wax crystals on stems and siliques. Total wax content decreased in stems and leaves. Roots exhibit growth retardation and abnormal lamellation of the suberin layer in the endodermis. Accumulation of C20 very-long-chain fatty acid (VLCFA) derivatives and reduction of C22 and C24 VLCFA derivatives compared to single mutants kcs2/daisy-1 (CS71727) and kcs20 (CS71728).
