Transgenic line. RUBY reporter (synthetic cassette of betalain biosynthetic genes) expressed under the control of the CaMV 35S promoter. The 35S:RUBY construct was transformed into Columbia plants by the floral dip method. T2 generation seeds were donated. Segregating for the transgene. Transgenic seeds are easily identified by red color.
