Transegenic line. RUBY reporter (synthetic cassette of betalain biosynthetic genes) expressed under the seed specific At2S3 promoter. The At2S3:RUBY construct was transformed into Columbia plants by the floral dip method. T2 generation seeds were donated. Segregating for the transgene. Transgenic seeds are easily identified by red color.
