Description:
Independent transgenic line #2 containing the genetically encoded fluorescent biosensor Kinase Localization Reporter (KLR). KLR consists of a bipartite modified nuclear localization signal (bNLS) with two phosphosites, a nuclear localization signal (NLS), the mNeonGreen fluorophore, a T2A "self-cleaving" Thosea asigna virus 2A peptide, the mRuby3 fluorophore, and an NLS derived from simian virus 40 (SV40). This control construct does not contain a kinase docking domain, which is an essential component of a fully functional Kinase Localization Reporter. Primary transformants were identified with an epifluorescence microscope and seed was collected from plants exhibiting strong fluorescence. Transgene genotype unknown.
