atr4-2 partial function missense mutant of cytochrome P450 CYP83B1, isolated by screening for EMS-induced mutants in the Columbia trp1-100 mutant background whose fluorescence persists on high tryptophan medium. The atr4-2 allele was subsequently segregated away from the trp1-100 mutation by crosses with wild-type Columbia.
